Two Sandwich Terns this morning from the obs window. Had a quick look at the lakes and southern mound- an increase in Shoveler and Teal, also 3+ Sparrowhawk, 4-5 Kestrel, 1 Hobby and 2 Buzzard. 15+ Swallow moving south, a few Chiffys round the edge, one Kingfisher and a Nuthatch calling from Parkside.
Sandwich Tern a scarce (near annual) migrant to Beddington Farmlands with 58 documented records of which over 50% are from from September.
